In California we are blessed with soaring vistas, forests, and pastoral meadows, and they proved inspiring for my work as an oil painter and artist.

• The lovely coastal areas and Sierra Foothill from Tehachapi to Yosemite to the Oakland hills and the Napa Valley.
• The high Sierra crest and Alpine areas

All inspired my works and are reflected in my paintings.
I work in oils exclusively attempting to convey a sense of place and poetry in my works.
In many of the works I utilize a dry brush stipple technique with a somewhat pointillistic approach and influenced by French impressionists school which includes Monet, Pisarro and Cezanne.
I try to convey a “sense of place” in my work.
